A year-round volunteer litter cleanup initiative in Hot Springs Village
Keep HSV Beautiful is a year-round volunteer effort dedicated to protecting the scenic roads and natural surroundings that define life in Hot Springs Village. Whether you pick up a bag once or show up every cleanup, you're part of keeping our community beautiful.
In 2025, each of our 5 cleanups averaged over 100 volunteers from nearly 20 HSV organizations., collecting over 350 large bags of trash.
Each of the roads outlined in black are cleaned between three and five times per year. Click here to expand the map.

2026 Litter Cleanup Schedule in HSV
All dates are Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
January 23, 24, and 25 (KIC*)
April 10, 11, and 12 (Village-wide)
June 5, 6, and 7 (Village-wide)
August 21, 22, and 23 (KIC)
October 23, 24, and 25 (Village-wide)
KIC stands for "Keep It Clean". Five teams participate in KIC cleanup events, which are scheduled in between the three Village-Wide Cleanups to keep three major roads as free of litter as possible. All of DeSoto Blvd, Ponce de Leon Drive (from DeSoto Blvd at ReMax to Hwy 5), and Balearic Road (from Ponce de Leon Drive to Minorca Road) are cleaned up five times a year.
The Animal Shelter is no longer accepting aluminum cans. If you recycle, take the cans wherever you take your other recycling materials.
